These terms explain the rules for using FarmDesk. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use FarmDesk.
1. What FarmDesk is
FarmDesk is online software for keeping farm records — tasks, fields, livestock, equipment, inventory, finances, sales, payroll schedules and documents — and for connecting farms, businesses and shoppers through the Marketplace and messaging.
FarmDesk is a recordkeeping tool. It does not give legal, veterinary, agronomic, accounting, tax or payroll advice. Payroll entries are a schedule only; FarmDesk does not withhold taxes or send direct deposits.
2. Your account
You must give a real email address and keep your password safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Farm owners decide who joins their farm and what role each person has. Owners are responsible for the people they invite.
3. Your records
You own the records you enter. You give us permission only to store, show and process them so the service works for you and your farm team.
You are responsible for keeping your records accurate. You can export or delete your data at any time from your account page.
4. Plans, free trials and cancelling
The Free plan costs $0. Paid plans (Farm Basic, Farmer Plus and Farm Business) are billed monthly and start with a 1-month free trial. Prices are shown on the Pricing page; sales tax may be added at checkout.
Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the seller of record. You can cancel at any time from your account page. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged. If you cancel later, paid features stay on until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give refunds for partial months unless the law requires it.
We may change prices. We will tell you before a new price applies to you.
5. Marketplace and messages
Posting Marketplace listings and messaging other farms requires a paid plan. Shoppers and business buyers can browse and message farms for free.
FarmDesk is not a party to any sale between users. Buyers and sellers are responsible for their own listings, prices, product quality, safety, delivery, payment and following the law, including rules for selling food, animals and equipment.
Don't post false, illegal, harmful or misleading listings or messages, and don't spam other users.
6. AI listing drafts
FarmDesk can draft listing text from your notes using an AI model. Drafts can contain mistakes. Check every draft before you post it; you are responsible for what you publish.
7. Acceptable use
Don't try to access other farms' data, break or overload the service, copy the software, or use FarmDesk for anything illegal. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
8. No guarantee
We work hard to keep FarmDesk running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is." We can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own backups of important records using the export tools.
To the extent the law allows, FarmDesk is not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, lost crops or animals, or lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
9. Changes and ending
We may update these terms. If the changes are important, we will tell you in the app or by email before they take effect. You can stop using FarmDesk and delete your account at any time.
